ADHD is a common neurodevelopmental condition that affects how a person pays attention, controls impulses, and manages activity levels. It usually begins in childhood and may continue into adolescence and adulthood.
Children with ADHD may have difficulty focusing, staying organized, or sitting still, even though their intelligence is normal. ADHD is not caused by poor parenting and is not contagious. With proper support, guidance, and treatment, children with ADHD can do very well in school and daily life.
